Correlation analysis between postpartum depression and social psychological factors of parturients
Objective To analyze the correlation analysis between postpartum depression(PPD)and social psychological factors of parturients. Methods The pregnant women who gave birth in the obstetrics department of the General Hospital of Ningxia Medical University from August 1,2022 to July 31,2023 were selected as the research objects. The general data and the scores of Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale(EPDS),Symptom Checklist-90(SCL-90)and Social Support Rating Scale(SSRS)of the parturients were collected.According to EPDS score, the parturients were divided into PPD group and control group. The correlation between PPD and social psychological factors was analyzed, and the influencing factors of PPD were explored. Results A total of 230 questionnaires of parturients were collected. There were 53 cases with EPDS score≥13 points and 177 cases with EPDS score<13 points. The number of pregnancies and deliveries in the PPD group were less than those in the control group(P<0.01).The scores of somatization, compulsion, interpersonal sensitivity, depression, hostility, anxiety, terror, paranoia and psychosis in the PPD group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.01).The scores of objective support, subjective support and support utilization in the PPD group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.01).Pearson correlation analysis showed that EPDS score was positively correlated with hostility and terror scores in SCL-90(P<0.01).Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that hostility in SCL-90 was the influencing factor of PPD in parturients(P<0.01).Conclusion Hostility is a risk factor for PPD,and the more obvious the hostility to the outside world, the more likely PPD occurs.Prevention of PPD or improvement of prognosis should pay attention to psychological factors of parturients and increase social support.
