Current situation and influencing factors of emergency medical treatment of severe mental disorders in a certain area
Objective To explore the current situation and influencing factors of emergency medical treatment of severe mental disorders in a certain area.Methods The data of patients with severe mental disorders stored in the mental health management information platform of a regional health center in Daxing district of Beijing from January 2018 to December 2022 were retrospectively analyzed.The descriptive epidemiological method was used to analyze the occurrence of emergency medical treatment for patients with severe mental disorders in this area.Univariate and multivariate Logistic regression analysis were used to explore the factors affecting the occurrence of emergency medical treatment for severe mental disorders in this area.Results A total of 575 patients with severe mental disorders were obtained in this survey,and 75 patients had emergency medical treatment.Multivariate Logistic regression analysis results showed that younger age of onset,longer interval between onset time and first treatment time,male,non-local household registration,unmarried marital status,positive family history of mental illness,lower education level,no individualized rehabilitation guidance,history of causing accidents and disasters in the past,a high number of hospitalizations in the past,drinking,poor families,no free physical examination,no guardian's subsidy and lower education level of the first guardian were the main factors affecting the occurrence of emergency medical treatment in patients with severe mental disorders(P<0.05).Conclusion Patients with severe mental disorders in a certain area have a certain proportion of emergency medical treatment.For patients with risk factors,attention should be paid to them.In addition,effective measures should be adopted as soon as possible for the factors that can be improved.
