Clinical effect of budesonide suspension atomization combined with eustachian tube blowing in the treatment of otitis media with effusion in children
Objective To explore the clinical effect of budesonide suspension atomization combined with eustachian tube blowing in the treatment of otitis media with effusion(OME)in children. Methods A total of 108 children with OME who were treated in our hospital from April 2021 to December 2022 were selected as the research objects.According to the random coin toss method, the children were divided into control group(53 cases,85 ears)and observation group(55 cases,90 ears). The control group was treated with eustachian tube blowing, and the observation group was treated with budesonide suspension atomization on the basis of the control group. The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared. Results After treatment, the scores of ear fullness, tinnitus, hearing loss and middle ear effusion in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the air conduction hearing threshold and air-bone gap in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of immunoglobulin E(IgE),interleukin-6(IL-6)and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 94.44%(85/90),which was higher than 80.00%(68/85)in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Budesonide suspension atomization combined with eustachian tube blowing therapy can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of children with OME,reduce the body's immune inflammatory response, improve the hearing level and enhance the clinical treatment effect.
