Differential diagnosis of macrocytic anemia and normal cell anemia by combined detection of blood routine multi-parameter
Objective To study the differential diagnosis of macrocytic anemia and normal cell anemia by combined detection of blood routine multi-parameter.Methods A total of 72 patients with anemia admitted in our hospital from January 2021 to January 2023 were selected as anemia group, and 40 healthy people who underwent physical examination during the same period were selected as control group. The blood routine parameters of the two groups were compared;the levels of blood routine parameters in patients with macrocytic anemia and normal cell anemia were compared;the efficacy of blood routine multi-parameter combined detection in the differential diagnosis of macrocytic anemia and normal cell anemia were analyzed. Results The red blood cell(RBC),hemoglobin(Hb)levels and mean corpuscular volume(MCV),mean concentration hemoglobin(MCH)in the anemia group were lower than those in the control group, and the red cell distribution width(RDW)was larger than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The levels of RBC and Hb in patients with macrocytic anemia were lower than those in patients with normal cell anemia, and the RDW and MCV were higher than those in patients with normal cell anemia, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The pathological results were taken as the gold standard, the sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of combined detection of RBC,Hb,RDW and MCV in the diagnosis of large cell anemia were 95.12%,93.55%and 94.44%respectively,which were higher than those of RBC,Hb,RDW and MCV alone(P<0.05).Conclusion RBC,Hb,MCV and MCH are significantly reduced in patients with anemia, while RDW is significantly increased. The combined detection of blood routine multi-parameter RBC,Hb,RDW and MCV has high application and promotion value in the differential diagnosis of macrocytic anemia and normal cell anemia, which can provide guidance for the early diagnosis and treatment of anemia patients.
