Recurrent oral ulcer(ROU)is painful and lingering,which greatly reduces the quality of life of patients.The theory of"aim for balance"in traditional Chinese medicine is basically the same as the mechanism of immune microenvironment balance in modern medicine,and the imbalance of cold and heat,Qi and blood,Yin and Yang in human body is the internal manifestation of recurrent oral ulcer."Heat evil and Yang evil"is easy to cause immune activation,"cold evil and Yin evil"is easy to cause immunosuppression,and the antagonism and transformation of immune activation and immunosuppression will affect the treatment of oral ulcer.Under the guidance of the theory of"aim for balance"in traditional Chinese medicine,this article uses the methods of Tongli Sanjiao,harmonizing the organs and regulating Yin and Yang to shorten the course of ROU and reduce recurrence,providing new ideas and methods for clinical treatment of ROU.
