Effect of Xuanyou decoction combined with Zengye decoction in the treatment of chronic functional constipation(Yin deficiency and dryness-heat syndrome)and its influence on gastrointestinal peristalsis function
Objective To explore the effect of Xuanyou decoction combined with Zengye decoction in the treatment of chronic functional constipation(Yin deficiency and dryness-heat syndrome)and its influence on gastrointestinal peristalsis function.Methods From January 2021 to January 2023,100 patients with chronic functional constipation of Yin deficiency and dryness-heat syndrome admitted in our hospital were selected as the research objects.The patients were divided into control group and observation group according to the random number table methods,with 50 cases in each group.The control group was treated with Bacillus coagulans tablets,live,and the observation group was treated with Xuanyou decoction combined with Zengye decoction.The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared.Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the scores of dry stool,defecation difficulty and defecation interval time in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the level of nitric oxide(NO)in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,and the levels of motilin(MTL)and substance P(SP)were higher than those in the control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the anal resting pressure and anal maximum systolic pressure in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the continuous extrusion time was shorter than that in the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion Xuanyou decoction combined with Zengye decoction in the treatment of chronic functional constipation of Yin deficiency and dryness-heat syndrome can elevate the therapeutic effect,improve the symptoms and gastrointestinal peristalsis function of patients,and reduce anorectal pressure.
