Application value of MDT combined with typical case teaching on the teaching rounds of resident standardized training in head and neck tumor surgery department
Objective To explore the application value of multi-disciplinary team(MDT)combined with typical case teaching on the teaching rounds of resident standardized training in head and neck tumor surgery department.Methods From September 2021 to August 2023,52 resident physicians who rotated in the head and neck tumor surgery department of Hospital of Stomatology,Xi'an Jiaotong University were selected as the research objects,and the resident physicians were divided into control group and experimental group by random number table method,with 26 cases in each group.The control group adopted the traditional teaching rounds mode,and the experimental group carried out MDT combined with typical case teaching on the basis of the control group.The examination results and teaching satisfaction of the two groups were compared.Results The basic knowledge,case analysis,operation practice,doctor-patient communication scores and total score in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There were no significant differences in self-evaluation and satisfaction score for teachers between the two groups(P>0.05);the scores of satisfaction with teaching methods,satisfaction with teaching effects and total score in the experimental group were significantly higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The MDT combined with typical case teaching on the teaching rounds of resident standardized training in head and neck tumor surgery department has significant application value and worthy of promotion.
