Clinical research progress of chronic osteomyelitis in traditional Chinese and western medicine
Chronic osteomyelitis is bone tissue destruction caused by infection,accompanied by bone resorption or formation of defects,characterized by local symptoms such as sinus tract,local swelling,bone sclerosis and bone destruction,often with a history of acute osteomyelitis.Chronic osteomyelitis is a chronic disease,which is related to infection and can occur at any age.Due to the different location of the disease,the clinical manifestations and treatment methods are also different.At present,there are many clinical methods for the treatment of osteomyelitis,mainly including drug treatment,surgical treatment and integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine treatment.This article reviews the clinical research progress of traditional Chinese and western medicine on chronic osteomyelitis,in order to improve the clinical understanding of the treatment of chronic osteomyelitis.
