Hypertension is a common disease among the elderly and an important risk factor for cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases.Elderly patients with hypertension often have cognitive impairment,and differences in age,disease status,and blood pressure management strategies not only affect cognitive function in the elderly,but are also re-lated to their quality of life and life expectancy.This article aims to analyze blood pressure management strategies at dif-ferent age stages and pathophysiological states from the perspective of cognitive function.
