Diabetes foot combined with peripheral arterial disease often leads to exacerbated foot ulcers,in-creased susceptibility to infections,and even amputations.A multidisciplinary approach is essential for the accurate as-sessment and comprehensive treatment of diabetic foot.Among them,surgical reconstruction of lower limb blood flow is a crucial guarantee for promoting the healing of diabetic foot ulcers and reducing amputation rates.During the vascular re-construction process,the surgeon can judiciously choose the surgical approach based on the ischemic characteristics of diabetic foot and the severity of ulcers.This article provides a summary and outlook on the pathological basis,surgical preparation,and surgical treatment of diabetic foot.
