In order to promote healthy aging and strengthen early intervention for disability and dementia,the concept of physio-cognitive decline syndrome has been proposed.Physio-cognitive decline syndrome is a geriatric syn-drome characterized by slow gait and(or)decreased grip strength with cognitive impairment no dementia in elderly peo-ple,which has a certain predictive effect on dementia.However,there are few studies on physio-cognitive decline syn-drome.Therefore,this article reviews concept,assessment,epidemiology and intervention of physio-cognitive decline syn-drome.
