Objective To investigate the effect of Baduanjin training guidance on fat-free mass index(FFMI),quality of life and anxiety status in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD).Methods One hun-dred and fifty-four patients with COPD in hospitalized were collected and divided into 2 groups:the basic group(Group B)and the Baduanjin training group(Group BBN)from July 2021 to July 2023 at the First Affiliated Hospital of Xin-jiang Medical University,Group B was given routine rehabilitation training measures, and the Group BBN was given training guidance on the basis of routine rehabilitation.Lung function and body composition was measured,TCM syn-drome score,Hamilton anxiety scale(HAMA),Hamilton depression scale(HAMD)scores and chronic obstructive pul-monary disease assessment questionnaire(CAT)were recorded and analyzed to compare the anxiety, depression and life quality improvement of 2 groups before and after the treatment. Results After 12 weeks of treatment,CAT score of pa-tients in Group BBN was decreased, with statistical significance(P<0.05);TCM syndrome score,HAMA and HAMD score was showed no changing, without statistical significance(P>0.05).TCM syndrome score,CAT score,HAMA score and HAMD score of patients in Group BBN was decreased, with statistical significance(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in lung function in Group B(P>0.05).FEV1/FVC%and FEV1 in Group BN showed no signifi-cant difference after treatment(P>0.05),while PEF%was decreased after treatment in Group BBN(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in FFMI in Group B(P>0.05),while it was improved in Group BBN,the difference has statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions Baduanjin training could improve airway obstruction, increase the level of muscle mass, relieve the condition of anxiety and depression, and improve the quality of life in patients with COPD.
