Bladder cancer can be divided into non-muscle invasive bladder cancer and muscle-invasive bladder cancer.The recurrence rate and mortality rate of muscle-invasive bladder cancer are relatively high.It is of great signifi-cance to deeply understand the pathogenesis and actively find effective treatment methods for bladder cancer.The prima-ry cultured tumor cells can better retain the cell characteristics of the original tumor tissue,which is a good tool for basic medical research.The primary tumor cells can be used to study the biological characteristics of tumors,evaluate the effi-cacy and safety of drugs,etc.,and provide a basis for the development of new therapeutic strategies.This article reviews the primary tumor cell culture and identification methods for bladder cancer,to provide new ways and ideas for the explo-ration of the pathogenesis of bladder cancer and the development of new diagnosis and treatment methods.
