A New Distribution Record of Yellow-throated Bunting(Emberiza elegans)in Tibet
On May 29,2023,three buntings were recorded at Mengzha Village,Chawalong Township,Chayu County,Linzhi City(98°17′37.94″E,28°33′39.47″N,altitude 2448 m),with bright yellow brow stripe and upper throat,black head,pure white lower throat,and near-white rest of the lower body.Based on these features,these birds were identified as yellow-throated buntings.By referring to relevant literature and databases,it was determined that this species is a new distribution record of birds in Tibet.
