Two Newly Recorded Bird Species in Guizhou Province:Chinese Penduline Tit(Remiz consobrinus)and Tibetan Sand Plover(Charadrius atrifrons)
During the period of bird diversity monitoring in Guizhou Province from February 2023 to May 2024,the Chinese Penduline Tit(Remiz consobrinus),a bird of Remizidae of Passeriformes,was recorded in Taiyang Lake Waterfront Park,Baiyun District,Guiyang City,and the Tibetan Sand Plover(Charadrius atrifrons),a bird of Charadriidae of Charadriiformes,was recorded in Guanshan Lake Park,Guanshanhu District,Guiyang City.It is clear that the two bird species belong to the new records of bird distribution in Guizhou Province after consulting the relevant literature.
