The implementation of"Undergraduate Graduation Thesis(Design)Sampling Inspection Method(Trial)"issued by the Ministry of Education has had a positive impact on the quality evaluation of undergraduate graduation thesis(design)in local ap-plication-oriented universities.However,universities are relatively weak in quality evaluation such as school orientation,professional ability,academic norms and scientific research accomplishment,as well as quality management evaluation,guiding strength,evalua-tion and sampling inspection,and continuous improvement,causing the shortcomings of undergraduate graduation thesis(design)of local application-oriented universities.The main reasons are students'weak basic knowledge and basic skills,lack of attention to undergraduate thesis(design),lack of innovation,lack of teacher guidance ability,and imperfect quality management evaluation system.In this regard,the high-quality development of undergraduate graduation thesis(design)should focus on improving the effi-ciency of students'learning,strengthening the construction of teachers,and establishing and perfecting the quality management e-valuation index system.
