Social Work Intervention on Digital Divide in Rural Elderly
The interwoven development of population aging and digital technology has spawned a new digital divide,and the ru-ral elderly have gradually become the vulnerable group in the digital society due to various subjective and objective factors.At pres-ent,the rural elderly are mainly faced with cognitive bias,inconveniences in daily life,and low digital literacy,which are rooted in the low self-efficacy of the rural elderly,lack of interpersonal support,and lack of attention to digital education in this group.Based on the empowerment theory,social work analyzes from the three levels of individual,interpersonal and social policy,through recon-structing the cognition of the rural elderly,building a social support network for them,and implementing the digital education policy for the rural elderly,helping the rural elderly to cross the digital divide and share the development dividend of the era equally.
