The Linguistic Landscapes and Cultural Connotations of Beizhen City in Liaoning Province
Taking the linguistic landscapes as the carrier of the link between language and culture and taking Beizhen City of Liaoning province as an example,this paper investigates the linguistic landscapes and cultural connotations in minority nationality areas of the northeast China.The 736 linguistic landscapes in Beizhen city show that the local linguistic landscapes are numerous and diverse,which contains rich cultural connotations such as Man culture,Liaohe culture and modern culture.It also points out the problems of the lack of national culture and regional culture,and the non-standard use of language and Chinese characters.It is necessary to strengthen the construction of culture connotations of linguistic landscapes,consolidate culture identity,improve the management of local linguistic landscapes and build urban civilization with regional characteristics.
