摘要
语言和文化的密切联系决定了文化在语言教学中的作用.大学英语教学如果忽略中华文化,会造成英语学习中中华文化的缺失,不仅影响学生的跨文化交流,更不利于对中华优秀文化的传承.传播中华文化、提高学生跨文化交流能力,提高中华文化的国际话语权,将成为大学英语教学的当务之急.
Abstract
The close connection between language and culture determines the role of culture in language teaching.The neglect of Chinese culture in the teaching of College English may lead to lack of Chinese culture in English learning,which not only affects students'intercultural communication,but also has negative impact on the inheritance of excellent traditional Chinese culture.Therefore,propagating Chinese culture,improving students'intercultural communicative competence and enhancing the international discourse power of Chinese culture will become the top priorities of the teaching of College English.
