The report to the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China proposed building a modern socialist country in all respects.To promote cultural self-confidence and self-improvement is to promote the building of a powerful socialist culture and create new socialist glory.Based on the new chapter of building a modern socialist country,the paper summarizes theoretic logic,historical logic and realistic logic of self-confidence and self-improvement,and discriminates the important influence of the excellent traditional Chinese culture,revolutionary culture and advanced socialist culture on the cultural self-confidence and self-improvement.It also analyzes the practical path of systematically constructing and promoting cultural self-confidence and self-improvement from five aspects of fundamental guarantee,the practice subject,system and mechanism,the innovation function and international environment.
