Study on Intermediate Annealing Process of 3003 Aluminium Alloy for Power Batteries
The intermediate annealing process of cast-rolled 3003 aluminium alloy was studied by means of universal testing machine,optical microscope and hardness tester.The results show that the microstructure of 3003 aluminium alloy changes obviously with the increase of the intermediate annealing temperature.When the intermediate annealing temperature is 385℃,the fibrous microstructure is equiaxed fine recrystallized grains.With the increase of the intermediate annealing temperature,the hardness and strength of 3003 aluminum alloy first decrease rapidly and then stabilize within a certain range,while the elongation showes the opposite trend.When the intermediate annealing temperature reaches 385℃,the mechanical properties of 3003 aluminum alloy begin to stabilize within a certain range;the hardness,tensile strength,yield strength and elongation of 3003 aluminum alloy are between 42 HV~43 HV,147~149 MPa,120~121 MPa and 30.5%~31%,respectively.Therefore,the intermediate annealing temperature of 3003 aluminum alloy is 385℃.This study can provide certain technical reference for the production of aluminum in energy,aerospace and automotive fields.
