Research of Quality Control Measures of High Strength and High Conductivity Aluminium Alloy Round Rod Produced by Continuous Casting and Rolling Process
The good quality of aluminium alloy round rod produced by continuous casting and rolling process is the key to obtain the aluminium alloy wires with high strength and high conductivity.The quality control measures of high strength and high conductivity aluminum alloy round rods produced by continuous casting and rolling process were introduced from three aspects:composition of alu-minium alloy round rod,purification of aluminium alloy liquid and continuous casting and rolling process.The results show that in the composition design of aluminium alloy rod,the excess Si content should be ensured and the content of impurity elements should be strictly controlled.It is necessary to pay attention to the purification treatment of aluminium alloy liquid.By improving the purity of al-uminium alloy lquid,eliminating the harm of hydrogen pores and inclusions,the mechanical properties and conductive properties of al-uminium alloy round rod is improved.The continuous casting and rolling process of high strength and high conductivity aluminium al-loy round rod is that the temperature of aluminium alloy liquid is 700~730℃,the speed of crystal wheel is 10~15 m/min,the tem-perature of cooling water is not higher than 40℃,the water pressure is 0.2~0.3 MPa,the initial rolling temperature is 470~510℃and the final rolling temperature is 520~550℃.
