Effect of Casting Temperature on Microstructure and Properties of 1070A/2024 Aluminium Alloy Cast-Rolled Composite Sheet
Abstact:The 1070A/2024 aluminium alloy composite sheet was prepared by vertical twin-roll casting and rolling mills at 670,680,690 and 700℃,respectively.By means of metallography microscope(OM),X-ray diffractometer(XRD),scanning electron micro-scope(SEM),energy dispersivity spectrometer(EDS)and shear test methods, etc.,the effect of casting temperature on the interface mi-crostructure and properties of 1070A/2024 aluminium alloy composite sheet in liquid-solid casting rolling was studied. The results show that the coated metal gradually changes from fine columnar crystals to coarse equiaxed crystals with the increase of pouring tem-perature.When the pouring temperature is 680℃,local intermetallic compounds are formed at the interface. The interface of the composite sheet is the most tightly combined, and the microhardness and shear strength of the composite interface are 90.1 HV and 86.8 MPa,respectively.
