The Research and Improvement of Roll Sectional Cooling System in Hot Finishing Mill
Taking the 2 800 mm four-high reversing hot finishing mill as the research object,this paper introduced the improvement process in the section cooling system of roll.Through the analysis of nozzle parameters and layout,the rationality of the design was ver-ified.Combining theory and practice,it is confirmed that the occurrence of"color aberration"is directly related to the spraying unifor-mity,and the fundamental reason is the insufficient stability of the nozzle.The structure,material and maintenance method of the noz-zle are important factors affecting the stability.Adopting more reliable nozzle structures and materials during design,and optimizing maintenance methods,can avoid the occurrence of"color aberration".
