Research on Index Control and Engineering Performance of SMA Asphalt Mixture
The optimal mix ratio of fine aggregate,mineral powder and asphalt filled in the volume index of SMA asphalt mixture has large design difference used the empirical method in the past.In this paper,based on the follow-up investigation of SMA-13 asphalt pavement of 6 expressways,the optimum content of mineral powder is determined by the correlation between mineral powder and asphalt volume through the analysis of construction and production mix ratio.The optimum amount of fiber is correlated with the amount of asphalt and the fiber content of different asphalt-aggregate ratio is determined by the ratio of asphalt volume to fiber content volume,i.e.18.The volume correlation between different density of coarse aggregate and asphalt density is carried out,and the asphalt-aggregate ratio is determined by the ratio of bulk relative density of coarse aggregate to asphalt relative density,i.e.2.02.From the perspective of SMA pavement energy,the construction index of powder to glue ratio is proposed,and the ratio is controlled to be 1.80-1.91.The powder to glue ratio is controlled to be 1.85-1.90 by the elasticity and toughness at the ambient temperature of 60 ℃ and 1.81-1.85 at 20 ℃.The filling rate of adhesive cement is controlled to be 14.2%-15.5%,14.2%-14.7%by the elasticity and toughness at 60 ℃,and 15.0%-15.5%at 20 ℃.
