Study on Properties of High Modulus Thermal Regeneration Mixture of Composite Modified Asphalt
The comprehensive road performance, dynamic resilience modulus and fatigue resistance of thermal reclaimed asphalt mixture were improved by adding large proportion Budon asphalt(BRA)and styrene butadiene copolymer(SBR)modified asphalt.Based on laboratory test and test section paving experience, the technical feasibility of BRA thermal regeneration high modulus asphalt mixture is verified. The results show that the dynamic stability of rutting test of thermal regeneration asphalt mixture by using 3%SBR modified asphalt and adding 2%-8%BRA is not less than 5 000 times/mm,the deformation of rutting after 60 min loading is not more than 2.0 mm,and the bending failure strain at low temperature is not less than 2 800 με.The thermal reclaimed asphalt mixture in the recommended compound scheme meets the technical index requirements of high modulus asphalt mixture.
