Influence of Density on Geogrid-Recycled Concrete Aggregate Interfacial Shear Characteristics
Monotonic direct shear tests were carried out on recycled concrete aggregate in different relative density with large direct shear apparatus to explore the influences of relative density, grain grading, normal stress and other factors on geogrid-recycled concrete aggregate interfacial shear characteristics. The result shows that, under the influences of different relative density, grain grading, normal stress, there presents post-peak shear softening on the interface;relative density has significant influence on the interfacial shear characteristics and, with the increase of relative density, all of the shear strength, shear modulus,pseudo-cohesion,internal friction angle, and overall shear dilatancy show an increasing trend;with the increase of nonuniform coefficient, both the peak shear strength and residual shear strength on the interface increase, showing obvious shear dilatation;with the increase of normal stress, the interfacial peak shear strength increases approximately in a line, and the increased amplitude and the shear dilatancy show a decreasing trend.
