Analysis on Failure Mechanism of Consequent Mudstone Slope under Vehicle Load on Top of Slope
Based on the consequent mudstone slope of a highway in Guizhou Province,the vehicle load on the top of the slope is considered as the uniform static load.The influence of load size and position on deformation and failure mechanism of consequent mudstone slope is studied by using UDEC software.The results show that:the rock mass in the upper part of the slope first bedding slips along the plane,and the failure mode of the slope is trust load landslide.With the increase of vehicle load on the top of the slope,the stability coefficient of the slope continues to decrease and the maximum displacement continues to increase,but the position of the potential sliding surface and the deformation and instability range of the slope are basically unchanged.With the increase of the distance between the slope top load and the slope shoulder,the stability coefficient of the slope continues to increase and the maximum displacement decreases,but the rear edge of the potential sliding surface continues to move back and the potential instability range increases.
