Analysis on Stability of Unsaturated Soil Slope under Rainfall Condition
Based on the fluid-solid coupling and unsaturated seepage model of COMSOL software, the saturated and unsaturated areas of slope were differentiated by Boolean variables, and the numerical simulation of slope stability under rainfall conditions was carried out based on the strength reduction method. The influence of changes in soil moisture content on capillary cohesion, internal friction angle and weight of soil was considered. The results show that soil type and rainfall type have great influence on slope pore water pressure distribution and safety factor.Clay slope soil tends to be more saturated in shallow layer, and pore water pressure values on upper and lower side of wetting front have a large span, and slope safety factor has significant difference under different rainfall types. After the wetting front disappeared, the influence degree of rainfall type was posterior front type, average type, central front type and forward type from deep to shallow.
