Application of the Microtremor Survey Method in the Exploration of Urban Buried Karst
Based on the investigation case of the intersection of South Guilin Road and Suzhou Road in Huangshi City,the principle of the microtremor survey method is introduced,and it is applied to the investigation of the buried karst area in the city.According to the results of geophysical interpretation,the abnormal region is verified by shear wave test and corresponding drilling.The results show that 1 solution groove,3 karst caves and 1 beaded solution development zone were found by the microtremor survey method,with high verification success rate.The microtremor survey method can accurately delineate karst development in limestone area under complex urban background and noisy environment,providing good geological data for engineering design.
