Research Progress on AsA Synthesis and Accumulation in Plants under Different Light Quality Treatments
Ascorbic acid(AsA)content is an important index for evaluating high-quality vegetables,and light quality is closely related to the physiological metabolism of AsA in plants.In this paper,the physiological functions and synthesis pathway of AsA,the effects of different light quality conditions on AsA synthesis and accumulation,as well as the regulation of AsA-related gene expression by different light quality conditions were reviewed.Meanwhile,the mechanism of how light quality affects the content of AsA was analyzed,with the aims of providing theoretical references for the study of the regulation of synthesis and accumulation of AsA in high-quality vegetable crops by different light qualities.
