Hybrid Purity Identification of Four Pepper Varieties by Using SSR Molecular Markers
To identify the hybrid purity,F1 hybrids of'Honglong 23','TianjiaoHongguan','Hong'an Xiangshuai','TianjiaoHongxi'and their parents were as the test materials in this study.The polymorphism of amplified bands between the hybrids and their parents was studied using SSR molecular markers,and further verified with the results of morphological identification in the field.The results showed that one of the 22 pairs of candidate primers could distinguish the parents and the heterozygous plants of the above four chili varieties.The purity of'Honglong 23','TianjiaoHongguan','Hong'an Xiangshuai'and'TianjiaoHongxi'hybrids was 98.96%,96.88%,98.96%,98.96%,respectively,which had a deviation of≤1.2%from the field identification results.The results showed that Es330,Es363,and Es395 could be used to detect the hybrid purity of'Honglong 23','TianjiaoHongguan','Hong'an Xiangshuai',and'TianjiaoHongxi',and SSR markers can be used for rapid indoor purity identification of pepper hybrid seeds.
