The F1 hybrid of sweet pepper'JiYan119'was developed by crossing the female parent of male sterile ABline AB91-WL11-4322 and male parent of inbred line MY12-2-6-2-3-2.It is a medium early variety with the first female setting on the 9-11th node.With smooth and bright surface and good commodity quality,its fruit is 10.5 cm in length,8.9 cm in height and 245 g in weight.The contents of Vc and SSC are 108.3 mg/100 g(FW)and 32.26 mg/g(FW),respectively.With excellent disease resistance,it produces 4 000 kg per 667 m2 of fresh pepper on average.This variety is suitable for early spring planting in plastic greenhouses in Hebei Province,such as Shijiazhuang,Handan,Zhangjiakou and Chengde.It is also suitable for delayed autumn planting in solar greenhouse in Shijiazhuang and in plastic greenhouse in Handan.
