Challenges and Development Suggestions for the Industrial Chili Industry in Xinjiang
Industrial chili refers to chili varieties specifically cultivated for industrial processing and applications,and various industrial uses.Xinjiang is one of the major production areas of industrial chili in China.This paper analyzed the current state and challenges that the industrial chili industry is facing in Xinjiang,summarized experiences from successful cases such as ZhangShugGang chili,and proposed strategic recommendations aimed at enhancing the development of Xinjiang's industrial chili industry.These recommendations included strengthening the exploration of germplasm resources,improving breeding efficiency,enhancing cultivation techniques,increasing the application of mechanization,integrating the industrial chain,building demonstration bases,establishing industrial brands to expand markets,and optimizing policy support to improve the business environment.The goal of these strategies is to promote the high-quality development of industrial chili industry in Xinjiang and reduce the dependence on foreign imports.
