Effects of Different Fertilization Treatments on the Yield of Cucumber
Using the cucumber variety of'Shuyan 10'as the experimental material, the effects of different fertilization treatments including CK(no fertilization),T1(base fertilizer+urea+organic fertilizer),T2(base fertilizer+compound fertilizer+organic fertilizer),T3(base fertilizer+urea+compound fertilizer+organic fertilizer),and T4(base fertilizer+organic fertilizer)on the yield, quality, resistance, and economic value of cucumber were assessed in this study. The results showed that different fertilization treatments had a significant impact on cucumber yield and quality.Taking into account the factors such as cucumber yield and resistance, the four fertilization treatments showed a yield increase of 34.53%to 129.00%compared with the non-fertilization treatment(CK).The order of yield for fertilization treatments was T3>T4>T1>T2>CK,and significant differences(P<0.05)were observed between each fertilization treatment and the CK.The growth traits of cucumber under different phenological period and fertilization treatment indicated that the order of its resistance was CK>T3>T1>T4>T2.The number of fruits per cucumber plant under different fertilization treatments were 17.3,15.0,14.0,11.0,9.5,with the order of T3>T4>T1>T2>CK.From the analysis of different fertilization treatments,it was found that T3 treatment significantly increased the proportion of high-grade fruits to 80.8%and significantly reduced the proportion of residual fruits to 0.2%,with the order of T3>T1>T4>T2>CK in optimizing fruit morphology.Taken together,an appropriate ratio of organic fertilizer and chemical fertilizer(0.5%compound fertilizer+30%organic fertilizer)could improve cucumber yield and quality, with a growth rate of 35.44%~132.69%.The order of overall economic value was T3>T4>T1>T2>CK.
