Labor Alienation and Its Resolution Path in the Context of the Digital Age—Reflections based on the Economic and Philosophical Manuscripts of 1844
Marx revealed four basic modes of"alienation"in his Economic and Philosophical Manuscripts of 1844,which are the alienation of workers from labor products, the alienation of workers from labor processes, the alienation of human beings from human beings'class nature, and the alienation of human beings from human beings. At present, digital labor has become a prevalent form of labor. In this form of labor,"alienation"still exists, such as the commercialization of digital labor products, the invisibility of digital labor processes, the digitization of the species-essence of man,and the virtualization and hierarchization of digital subjects.Seeking a way out of digital alienation from three dimensions:liberating digital productive forces, reconstructing digital production relations, restoring people's subjective consciousness, and building a digital community of destiny will help human beings to explore the road of comprehensive and free development, and thus promote the process of communism in the digital age.
