The advancement of new engineering is driving progress in education,with a focus on delving deep into the subject field to cultivate outstanding professionals.As an integral component of new engineering development,safety engineering should incorporate ideological and political elements into the curriculum while emphasizing the close relationship between engineering and society.This approach aims to enhance students'comprehensive knowl-edge,cutting-edge skills,and practical abilities.In line with the concept of new engineering construction needs,the safety engineering program at Lyuliang University has established a novel system,methodology teaching process and evaluation model based on recent research findings in new engineering within an undergraduate tutorial framework,yielding positive outcomes.
