Xin Anting's thought on language education is an important part of his educational thought,rich in conno-tation and forward-looking,involving the requirements for the compilation and review of language teaching materials,and the values and methods of elementary school literacy and reading and writing teaching.Xin Anting's language education thought was born during the New Democratic Revolution,and meet the needs of the revolution and con-struction under the leadership of the CPC,especially based on the exploration of the relative weakness of basic edu-cation in the Yan'an period.By absorbing the nutrients from Xin Anting's thought and practice of language educa-tion,the reform of language education in the new era should firmly implement the Party's education policy,promote the development of rural basic education in the local context,pay attention to the construction of new language teaching materials in the new curriculum and the ideology of the curriculum in language education,give full play to the value of language teaching in the training of top-notch and innovative talents,and critically understand the im-portance of the experience of education reform.
