Represented by The Burden of Female Talent:The Poet Li Qingzhao and Her History in China,Egan's study of Li Qingzhao is a great supple-ment to the weak study of Song Dynasty literature in the sinology research.Based on the feminist perspective,Egan carries out distinctive and precise text analysis,and tries to break the traditional autobiographical interpretation,which provides a new method and theoretical basis for the study of classic writer Li Qingzhao and her works,but sometimes it also falls into excessive interpretation and circular argument.The range of applications of his method and theory deserves further attention and consideration.In terms of research space,there is still something to explore about the acceptance of Li Qing-zhao by literate women in later generations.
