Strategies for Higher Vocational Colleges to Help Rural Modernization
As important places for China to cultivate talents needed for the modernization,vocational colleges must recognize their positions in the modernization of agriculture and rural areas,assume their responsibili-ties,and provide talents and technical support for the preliminary modernization of agriculture and rural areas.A questionnaire survey was carried out among 1,000 students from two agriculture-related vocational colleges in Fujian Province,investigating their employment intention and exploring the shortcomings of agriculture-re-lated vocational colleges in helping agricultural and rural modernization.Some strategies were put forward for promoting the realization of agricultural and rural modernization.
