An Investigation into Xu Douguang's Fuxue Xiandan(赋学仙丹)
Xu Douguang's Fuxue Xiandan(赋学仙丹)selected 2 pieces of rhythmic Fu in the Tang Dynasty and 8 pieces of rhythmic Fu in the Qing Dynasty.The volume of the book is very small but the style is quite fine.With meticulous comments,this book reflecting Xu Douguang's view of"pursuing the trend while breaking the rhythmic restriction of the Tang Dynasty"in the turning period of the theory of rhythmic Fu.By analyzing the ver-sion,selection and annotation of Fuxue Xiandan(赋学仙丹),we can see the change of the style of rhythmic Fu after Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty and the new characteristics of the anthology in the late Qing Dynasty.
