Research on Construction of"National First-class Specialty"in Local Application-oriented Universities:A Case Study of Chemical Engineering and Technology in Liaodong University
There are some problems in the specialty construction of local application-oriented universities,such as the mismatch between the talent training program and the industrial demand,the backward design of the curriculum system,the insufficient intersection of disciplines,and the significant lack of engineering practice of students and teachers.Therefore,in the construction of national first-class specialty,the chemical engineering and technology specialty of Liaodong University carried out teaching reform based on its features and the local eco-nomic and social development.By revising the talent training program,improving the curriculum system of profes-sional courses,strengthening the construction of"double-qualified and double-skilled"teachers,and adjusting the training objectives and curriculum system of the specialty,the students'professional theory and skills are culti-vated,and their ability to analyze the complicated engineering problem is improved.
