Based on the place semiotics theory,it is found through investigation that Dandong possesses large number,wide variety and distribution of linguistic landscapes in its border tourist attractions,meanwhile embraces the characteristics of internationalism,nationalism and border city characteristics.But there exit some problems in the aspects of code preference,inscription and emplacement in these tourist attractions.To promote the improve-ment of language service level and the high-quality development of Dandong border tourism,it is suggested that government attach importance to the functional cognition of language landscape,standardize the management of lin-guistic landscape,and improve the construction of linguistic landscape by integrating into the economic development of border regions.
