The Generative Logic,Essential Characteristics,and Chinese Strategies of Biocapitalism——Exploration Based on the Perspective of Marxist Political Economy
Biocapitalism is the latest ruling form of capitalism in the biological era,which is the continuation,evolution,and subset of capitalism.It objectively promotes the rapid development of social productivity and realizes the"leap"of human civilization,but at the same time,it causes negative changes in social relations and shows a"arrogance"towards human civilization.The contradictory movement of"leap"and"arrogance"embodies the contradiction between"scientific and technological logic"and"capital logic"which is manifested as the generative characteristic of many modern contradictions in biological capitalism.Based on the background of economic globalization,the basic strategy to address the expansion and infiltration of biocapitalism is to promote the construction of a socialist biotechnology development model with Chinese characteristics under the guidance of Marxist worldview and methodology.In this process,it is necessary to continuously deepen the understanding and grasp of the essence,laws,and development trends of biological capitalism,and then continuously explore and form a scientific and effective socialist action plan in the ever-changing world political and economic landscape.
