On the Availability of Medical Care Based on Health Needs Situation of Rural Empty Nesters
Implementing the national strategy of actively responding to the aging population,improving the accessibility of rural community medical services,and providing high-quality elderly health services for the elderly in rural areas are an important embodiment of China's adherence to the people-centered development thought.Based on the Chinese elderly health influence factors tracking survey(CLHLS)data,this paper explores the relationship between the accessibility to medical services and the health demand of the rural empty nesters,setting rural empty nesters as research objects,using binary logistic regression analysis,and analyzes the factors influencing the health demand of rural empty nesters,to verify the effective supply of medical services can meet the health demand of rural empty nesters.The results show that the accessibility of medical service supply has a significant impact on the health demand of rural empty nesters,and the accessibility of medical service is an important factor affecting the health demand of rural empty nesters.Therefore,improving the basic medical services in rural communities and enhancing the supply capacity of rural medical and health resources are the necessary paths to improve the healthy behavior mode of rural empty nesters.The government can improve the accessibility of medical services in rural communities through Internet tele-medicine,to meet the diverse health demand of rural empty nesters and improve the health and well-being of rural empty nesters.
