From the perspective of social structure,British New Marxist Concept of Culture expounds the role of culture in social life.Combining life with culture,British New Marxism explores the main contents and social functions of culture.British New Marxist Concept of Culture argues that the alienation of psychology and behavior destroys the completeness and harmony of life,which is the reflection of existence and life of exile characters.From the view of exile characters in Nabokov's novels,under the theoretical framework of British New Marxist Concept of Culture,the paper analyzes the alienation of psychology and behavior of exile characters,illustrates the manifestations of alienation,the causes of alienation and the pursuit of subject identity of exile characters.
