In order to determine the thermal characteristic parameters of machine tool foundation components with fixed joint surface of basalt fiber polymer concrete(BFPC),a simulation model of machine tool foundation components with fixed joint surface of BFPC was established based on virtual material method,and its thermal characteristics were simulated and analyzed.The components with BFPC fixed joint surface were designed and manufactured,and the thermal characteristics of the components were studied by experimental methods.The comparison and analysis of the results obtained by the two research methods,the simulation analysis and the experimental study,show that the temperature fields of the components obtained by the two methods at different times are consistent,and the error between the simulation and the corresponding experimental point temperature is not greater than 8.57%.It is proved that the established virtual material parameter model of BFPC fixed joint surface is accurate and the virtual material method used to simulate the thermal characteristics of components containing BFPC fixed joint surface is verified.
