摘要

康乃尔大学作为美国"常春藤名校"中本科生规模最大和最具有教育多样化的学校,长期以来把追求平等教育、重视本科教学作为学校办学的核心。在本科教学中特别重视对教学计划、课程设置、教学实践、学分制度、教学考核以及学生人格培养等环节的管理,注重培养学生的实践技能、创新能力和塑造健康人格。康乃尔大学本科教学的先进经验为我国建设研究型大学、提高本科教育教学质量提供了有益的借鉴。

Abstract

Based on the description of undergraduate education in Cornell University in USA,this paper proposes that Chinese research universities should ensure the importance of undergraduate education,Cornell University as member of lvy League with biggest scale of undergraduate and most diversified education have been focusing on educational equality and cultivating undergraduate in long tern.Besides paying more attention to teaching plan,curses,practice,credit system,assessment and personality cultivation,Cornell aims at breaking the boundary of subjects and melt them together,and enhancing abilities of practice and innovation of students and cultivate healthy and independent talents with unique characteristics,which provides us with experiences to improve quality in research universities in China.
