Clinical Characteristics and Emergency Treatment Analysis of 116 Cases of Venom-ous Snake Bites in Xiamen of Fujian Province
Objective:To analyze the clinical characteristics and emergency treatment of 116 cases of venomous snake bites in Xiamen,Fujian.Methods:116 patients with venomous snake bites admitted to our hospital from Febru-ary 2020 to June 2023 were selected and divided into the Zhuyeqing group(95 cases),the Cobra group(13 cases),and the Viper group(8 cases)based on the type of venomous snake.The clinical characteristics,treatment methods,and therapeutic effects of different venomous snake bites were compared.Results:The Zhuyeqing group had more severe swelling,local swelling and pain,and multiple organ dysfunction syndrome than the Cobra and Viper groups.The inci-dence of wound infection was higher than that of the Cobra and Viper groups,and the difference was statistically signifi-cant(P<0.05).The proportion of severe type patients in the group was higher than that in the Cobra and Viper groups,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment with anti venom serum,11 cases(84.62%)were cured in the Cobra group The cure rate of 8 cases(100%)in the pit viper group was higher than that of 53 cases(55.76%)in the bamboo leaf green group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Among the patients with venomous snake bites in Xiamen,Fujian,the proportion of bamboo leaf green bites is the high-est,and the condition is the most severe.The use of anti snake venom serum treatment has a better effect,and early emergency treatment and effective treatment are crucial for patients.At the same time,it is also necessary to promote the prevention and treatment of snake bites.
