Value of Pepsinogen and Gastrin 17 for the Diagnosis of Gastric Cancer
Objective:To investigate the value of Pepsinogen(PG)and Gastrin 17(G-17)for the diagnosis of gas-tric cancer. Methods:Serum samples from 40 patients with gastric cancer and 30 healthy as gastric cancer group and control group were analyzed from Nov 2020 to Apr 2021 in the hospital.PGI,PGⅡ levels were measured using chemilu-minescence immunoassay, and G-17 levels with fluorescence immunochromatography.Differences in marker expression were assessed, and logistics regression model, receiver operating characteristic curve(ROC)and under area curve(AUC)was used for diagnostic evaluation between the two groups. Results:Serum levels of PGI,PGⅡ and G-17 were significantly higher in the gastric cancer group than those in the control group(all P<0.05).The AUCs for PGI,PGⅡand G-17 were 0.749,0.734 and 0.785,respectively.Combined detection yielded an AUC of 0.822,was significantly bet-ter than individual or paired tests(P<0.05).Conclusion:Combined detection of PG I,PGⅡ and G-17 offers high di-agnostic efficiency for early gastric cancer detection, serving as an effective non-invasive screening method.
